Boarding
Although we are a small facility we take pride in the way our horses are kept and provide only QUALITY care. We require that all boarded horses be vaccinated upon arrival, and twice a year thereafter. We highly recommend that they be kept on a regular worming, shoeing, and dental program as well.
Our stalls are 12' X 12' and are kept safe and clean. We have an outstanding feeding program which includes 3 feedings a day. The morning and evening feedings are grassy alfalfa; the afternoon feeding is Safe Choice with a joint product and a sand colic treatment.
The riding arena is 110' X 150', and has excellent sand footing year round. The tack room is neat, well organized, and protected with a cement floor. There is a large grooming area in the barn, and a bathing area outside.
A farrier comes on a 6-week schedule for those who have performance horses, and an 8-week schedule for pleasure horses. A certified equine dentist comes out a few times a year to check teeth and do any needed dental work.
